Taking care of the firewall and internet connectivity of the entire KBC Group? It’s a challenge you never grow tired of. In our team, you make full use of your technical insight .

Because systems engineering – and IT in general – relies on teamwork , you work closely with colleagues in other functions and from various teams. Once you built up your experience, you’re given the chance to lead innovation projects.

• In an organisation like the KBC Group there are regular innovations in the architecture , especially in regard to our firewalls and internet connectivity. Together with automation , they’re the primary challenges for our team.
• Complex problems often cross domain boundaries. This is why you work on troubleshooting , often in collaboration with the different teams that are responsible for our infrastructure.
• We work agilely and involve you in the design, implementation and more ...
• You spend a part of your time on daily follow-up tasks.
• You’re occasionally on standby outside regular work hours

Jouw profiel

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM related field, and/or you have valuable work experience.
• You have thorough knowledge of network security on an enterprise level:
  • Firewalls;
  • Enterprise networking;
  • Internet connectivity.
• You and your colleagues enjoy working with others. Your communication skills help you here; you express your thoughts and ideas clearly in English . You’re preferably able to do this in Dutch too.
• You enjoy nothing more than analysis and finding efficient solutions .
• You win bonus points if you have a vendor certificate, from Cisco for example. Experience with automation is appreciated.

• De ICT strategie opstellen op basis van door de directie bepaalde uitgangspunten en de behoeften van de gebruikers
  Toezicht houden op de uitvoeringsmodaliteiten
• Risicobeheer van de informatiesystemen bepalen en uitvoeren (beveiliging, vertrouwelijkheid, integriteit, betrouwbaarheid, ...)
• De strategie en de oriëntatie van de informatie- en telecomsystemen van een organisatie bepalen (evolutie, organisatie, ...)
• De kwaliteits- en beveiligingsprocedures van de informatie- en telecomsystemen bepalen en de toepassing ervan controleren
